Chi kung

Chi kung

Chi kung litteraly means energy excercise. It’s Chinese, incredibily old, and you can still learn it with this course at USC Body & Mind. Chi kung is the source of all martial arts, like tai chi, judo, karate, kung fu and aikido. In this course we concentrate on the woman’s body.

Week 24

Chi kung for women at the USC: how does it work?

  • The course is 9 classes of 75 minutes.
  • It’s for all women of all ages; you don’t need any experience.
  • The excercises derive from Le Tao de la Femme Lune: taostic chi kung bringing balance in a woman’s body.
  • You perform the excercises in a ‘mindful’ way, without any pressure.
  • Every class ends with a guided meditation.
  • During your course, you can join the free meditation class at USC Body & Mind.
